What is Null and Void?
Imagine a world where you're a corporate drone fighting for your life in a neon dystopia, but dying doesn't even give you a break. Null and Void is a darkly satirical blend of tower defense and deckbuilding that forces you to manage debt while fighting off waves of enemies.

Gameplay
You aren't just plopping towers and waiting for the wave to end here. Null and Void mixes lane defense with a deckbuilder, so you're constantly managing a hand of cards to survive a dystopian nightmare. It's way more tactical than Bloons TD because you can't just spam units; you've got to optimize your build to push a bit further each run. The loop is bleak: you fight, you die, and then a clone spawns in to inherit all your debt. It's basically a cyberpunk roguelite where you're doing a terrible job, but doing it very well.
Since it's in Early Access, you'll definitely hit some rough edges. It feels experimental and lacks that AAA polish, which might grate on you if you hate unfinished menus or clunky transitions. The difficulty is a huge hurdle, too. You'll spend a lot of time failing and trying to earn Vexbucks while fighting a corporate overlord. It's a bit of a grind, but that's where the roguelite itch kicks in—trying to figure out the perfect synergy to break the game.
At $10.00, it's a fair price for the ambition, though some might find it steep for a project that's still finding its footing. You're paying for a weird, satirical vibe and a mechanical mashup that actually tries something new. If you can handle the frustration of a punishing loop, the tactical depth is there. Just don't expect a smooth ride; it's a jagged, indie experience that values challenge over accessibility. I'd give it a 7/10 for the sheer originality.
