What is Null and Void?
Imagine a world where you're a corporate slave so deep in debt that even dying just means getting cloned and inheriting the bill. Null and Void blends roguelike deckbuilding with tower defense in a bleak, retrofuturist future where you're essentially paid to do a terrible job very well.

Gameplay
You're a corporate slave in a bleak, retrofuturist dystopia where death is just a cloning fee added to your tab. Instead of the standard room-to-room combat you'll find in Slay the Spire, you're managing a defensive line. The core loop is a mix of deckbuilding and tower defense; you'll spend your turns drawing cards to place and upgrade towers to stop enemy waves from breaking through. It's all about creating devastating kill-zones through card synergies, and the run variety stays fresh because the tower layouts and drafts shift enough to stop you from relying on one 'god build' every time.
The meta-progression is tied to your debt. You're slowly chipping away at a corporate bill, which gives you a genuine reason to keep diving back in. It's a grind, but it feels earned. At $10.00, it's a fair price for the amount of tactical pressure you get, though it's currently in Early Access and shows it. You'll run into a clunky UI when the screen gets chaotic, and the learning curve is steep. Don't be surprised if you blow your first few runs simply because you didn't grasp how a specific tower synergy worked.
If you've played Monster Train, you'll recognize that same feeling of managing multiple threats at once, but Null and Void adds a cynical, sci-fi edge. It's not as polished as the big hits, but the loop of building a defense and fighting the debt is addictive as hell. Just be ready for some rough edges while Space Dragon Games irons out the kinks.
