First Impressions: Everhex Demo

Build one monster tower with six weapon mounts and shred waves until wave 70.

Forget everything you know about tower defense. In Everhex, you don't build a maze; you build one single, overpowered tower that shreds through endless waves of enemies.

Gameplay

You're not placing twenty towers to block a path here. Instead, you build just one tower and spend the rest of the game turning it into an absolute monster. You'll fight endless waves of enemies, using the loot they drop to pump up your damage and crit. The real draw is the six different weapon mounts that all fire at once, creating a massive power fantasy.

It's a different vibe than Bloons TD, because you don't have to worry about maze layouts or pathing. You're obsessing over your build instead. You've got a workshop and a 'Constellation' system for passives that actually feel impactful to your survival.

Since this is a demo, you're capped at wave 70. It's a lean, indie experience—don't expect a cinematic masterpiece. The core loop is addictive, but it's definitely a bit rough around the edges in terms of polish. If you're bored of the same old TD tropes and just want to see how much firepower you can cram onto one spot, it's a no-brainer. It's fast, satisfying, and free to try.

First Impressions

This demo is a solid 8/10. If you love power fantasies and build-crafting, grab it for free. Just don't expect a polished AAA title; I want to see more variety in the full release to keep the loop from feeling shallow.
