Gameplay

You're not just picking cards from a random pool here; you're actually sketching them. The core loop in CardCraft Engineering is all about the 'test and learn' rhythm. You define the rules of your own cards, build a deck, and then throw it at an AI to see if your engineering actually holds up. When a card turns out to be totally useless or accidentally broken, you head back to the drawing board to tweak the mechanics. It's a creative cycle that feels way different from the usual roguelike grind.

Don't expect a Slay the Spire experience. There's no map to navigate and no relics to hoard. You're basically playing God with your own card game mechanics in the Endless Workshop. The meta-progression is simple but smart: any budget-valid decks you spend hours perfecting in this demo can be imported directly into the full game later.

Since it's a demo, it's a very small slice. You've only got the first chapter and one boss fight before the credits roll. It feels like a 'focused introduction,' which means you're vibing in a vacuum without any online play or Workshop integration.
