What is Might & Poison Mushroom?

A free autobattler prologue that replaces random shop rolls with a clever deck-building system for your unit pool.

Imagine an autobattler where you don't just roll for units, but actually design the store you're buying from. Might & Poison Mushroom is a trippy, free prologue that lets you manipulate your own RNG to build a powerhouse team.

Gameplay

You're basically playing a trip. It's an autobattler, but it tosses the usual RNG gambling out the window. Instead of praying for a unit in a random shop like you do in TFT, you actually build your own shop. You collect spores to shuffle units into your pool or 'root out' the fungi you don't want. It's a deckbuilder where the deck is your store; you prune the pool until the odds of hitting that 3-star unit are actually in your favor. It's a genuine 'aha!' moment that makes you feel in control of your fate.

Combat revolves around 'color resonance' for synergies, which feels fresh. The vibe is intentionally weird because your character is poisoned. You can toggle a psychedelic filter that warps the screen and pops the colors, though you'll probably want to turn it off if you start getting a headache. It's a free prologue, so don't expect a massive epic. You'll hit a content wall pretty quickly once you've seen the main mechanics.

Since it's a demo for the full Might & Mushroom game, it's lean. You're getting a taste of the systems rather than a full meal. It's a great appetizer, but the depth is limited by its nature as a prologue. You'll spend most of your time experimenting with the shop-building to see how far you can push the resonance mechanics before the run ends.

This is a great free preview for fans of the genre who want to see a smarter take on the shop mechanic. If you hate trippy visuals or are wary of weird pop-ups, you might want to skip it, but otherwise, it's a 7.5/10 appetizer that proves the full game could be something special.
