What is Sky Scaffold?
Imagine if a factory simulator and an autobattler had a baby in deep space. You'll build a towering industrial fortress and automate its defenses to shred enemy fleets while carving out a legacy that lasts beyond your own death.

Gameplay
Forget the usual shop-and-pivot loop you've seen in TFT. In Sky Scaffold, you're building a massive industrial tower in space. Your core loop is all about setting up deep industry chains and automating defenses to grind down deep space fleets. It's a semi-idle experience; you can either micromanage every single turret or engineer a god-tier build and just watch the fireworks. It's a slow burn that feels more like a factory-builder than a tactical battler, so don't expect the fast pace of Hearthstone Battlegrounds.
What really keeps you hooked is the legacy system. Your faction reputation persists after you die, so you aren't resetting to zero every run. It gives you a genuine reason to keep pushing even when you get wiped. Once you hit that sweet spot with your scaling, the power trip is insane. The pixel art is gritty and looks great, making the destruction of enemy fleets feel satisfying.
Just be warned: it's in Early Access and it shows. The UI is clunky and the learning curve is a steep cliff. You'll likely spend your first hour just staring at the screen wondering why your resource line isn't working. It's a 'hardcore simulation,' which is code for 'you're going to struggle at first.' Also, it costs $8.99. That's unusual for a genre that's usually free-to-play, but the depth of the automation makes the price feel fair if you're into this kind of thing.

Verdict
I'm giving this a 7/10. It's a must-try if you love automation and a slow-burn strategy, but skip it for now if you hate clunky UIs or want a fast-paced competitive battler.
