What is Summoners Greed: Idle Tower TD?
Ever wanted to be the villain in a fantasy story? In Summoners Greed, you've stolen the King's treasure and now you've gotta build a monster hoard to keep it. It's an idle TD mashup that flips the script on the whole genre.
Gameplay
You're the bad guy here. Instead of saving a village, you've stolen the King's loot and now you've gotta defend your hoard from waves of 'heroic' adventurers. You summon monsters to act as your towers, evolve them to get stronger, and arrange your castle layout to stop the army. It's way more laid back than Kingdom Rush because you aren't micro-managing every second; you just set your defense, let it run, and collect the loot.
Since it's free, the barrier to entry is zero, but you'll pay for it in time. The early game is a breeze, but then you hit a wall. Wave 40 is a notorious pain where you'll find yourself stuck for days. This is where the gacha elements kick in. You're constantly hunting for summoning stones to get better pulls, and the grind for top-tier units is brutal. It's a slow-burn progression that's surprisingly addictive once you finally smash through a wave that's been blocking you.
It's not all smooth sailing, though. You'll notice some rough edges that get annoying fast. There's no speed-up button, so when your towers are OP, watching enemies crawl toward you is agonizing. Plus, the targeting is a bit dumb. Your monsters will often lock onto a boss and ignore smaller troops just strolling right past them. It's less about high-intensity strategy and more about leaving the game running in the background while you do other stuff.

What Players Say
People generally love the simple art style and the fact that it's a game they always come back to. Some find it 'so much fun', but others are frustrated by the lack of free summoning stones and the low drop rates for legendary monsters. There are also annoying technical bugs, specifically with Facebook logins making it impossible for some to save their progress.
