What is Skills & Raids - Official Artbook?
Forget your typical drafting simulators; Skills & Raids is a moody blend of extraction RPG and tactical auto-combat. You'll lead a party into oppressive raids where timing your abilities is the only way to survive the gloom.

Gameplay
You're not just drafting a board and praying here. In Skills & Raids, you're diving into raids to loot resources and knock out quests in a dark fantasy world. It's a weird hybrid—think extraction RPG meets autobattler. While the combat is 'auto,' you're actually managing skill rotations and timing hero abilities in real-time. You've got to react to enemy mechanics and watch those cooldowns closely if you want to survive.
That's where the loop hits a wall, though. Since it's a solo dev project by Eddie H. Hinestroza, it lacks the polish of a big studio title. You'll spend most of your time running tasks for one main NPC, and the variety just isn't there. It's not like TFT or Battlegrounds where a shifting meta keeps things fresh; here, the gameplay loop gets stale quickly once the initial novelty wears off.
If you're looking at the Official Artbook DLC for $3.99, you're basically paying for the best part of the experience. The art is killer—dark, oppressive, and moody. You get 4K wallpapers and behind-the-scenes sketches that show off the dev's strength as an artist. It's a decent add-on if you love the aesthetic, but it doesn't fix the underlying lack of content in the main game. I'd give the overall experience a 6/10 because while the vibe is spot on, the actual game needs way more meat on its bones to keep you hooked long-term.
