What is Rogue Circuit?

A refreshing racing-themed autobattler where you build a car and a card loadout then let the AI fight for the finish line.

Imagine an autobattler where you swap the fantasy battlefield for a chaotic race track. Rogue Circuit puts you in the manager's seat, forcing you to build a machine that can survive the circuit without you ever touching the steering wheel.

Gameplay

Forget fighting wizards or monsters; in Rogue Circuit, you're managing a racing team. You don't actually drive the car. Instead, you act as the strategist, picking your driver, tuning the machine, and building a five-card loadout of techniques and power-ups. Once the green light hits, the AI takes the wheel and you just watch your strategy play out in real-time. It's a racing roguelite, so you're earning XP during the race to make your car faster or meaner as you go.

It's a fresh pivot from the usual autobattler loop. While you're used to positioning units in something like TFT or Battlegrounds, the 'positioning' here is all about how your car behaves on the track and how you react to other drivers. You aren't chasing a rigid meta composition; you're just trying to build a machine that can survive the absolute chaos of the circuit. It's all about finding those specific card synergies that make a run click.

Now, keep in mind it's a $4.99 indie project, and it shows. It's not some polished AAA experience. You'll deal with a clunky UI and a few quirks since the game is still evolving. It's definitely a passion project with some rough edges, but that doesn't stop it from being addictive. If you've got a few bucks and want to scratch that 'just one more run' itch, it's a solid value.

Verdict

I'd give it a 7/10. Grab this if you're bored of fantasy combat and want a weird, strategic racing twist, but skip it if you can't stand unpolished UI or clunky indie quirks.
