What is KICKSLAUGHT?
Imagine if a soccer sim and an autobattler had a baby in a pixel-art world. KICKSLAUGHT strips away the bloat and gives you a fast, aggressive climb from the bottom league to the championship.

Gameplay
You're basically building a soccer-themed combat machine. Instead of the bloated complexity you find in TFT, KICKSLAUGHT keeps it lean. You recruit units, set your lineup, and watch the chaos unfold as you blast through defenders to take down the goalkeeper. The core loop is all about that quick hit of dopamine—you're constantly tweaking your squad, training around the neighborhood, and upgrading gear to climb from the lowest league to the top. It's a combat simulator that doesn't waste your time with 40-minute marathons.
Because it's in Early Access, you'll definitely feel some friction. The menus are clunky and the polish just isn't there yet. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the 'just one more round' energy keeps you hooked. The depth is pretty shallow compared to heavy-hitters like Dota Underlords, so don't expect a deep strategic odyssey. It's more of a punchy, short-burst experience.
Then there's the price. At $0.99, it's weird to see a paid entry in a genre that's almost always free-to-play. It's a tiny cost, but it's an odd choice for an Early Access title. Still, for a buck, you're getting a fast, honest pixel-art brawler that does its own thing without overcomplicating the mechanics.

Verdict
It's a solid 7.5/10 for anyone who wants a fast, cheap, pixel-art distraction. If you need deep strategy or a polished AAA interface, skip this until it leaves Early Access.
