First Impressions: Orbsmith Demo
Imagine if an ARPG loot system became the entire game. Orbsmith is a weird, addictive blend of an idle autobattler and a gambling sim where your gear does all the fighting for you.

Gameplay
You've probably played a dozen autobattlers where you're sweating over unit placement and board synergy. Orbsmith flips that on its head. You aren't managing a squad; you're managing gear. The whole game is a gambling loop where you feed magic orbs into your weapons to hunt for god-rolls. You craft, gamble, fight, and repeat. It's a loot-chase simulator that lets you sit back and watch your build do the killing once you've nailed the stats.
It's a total dopamine hit if you love watching numbers go up. You'll spend most of your time chasing impossible rolls, praying you don't brick your build in the process. It's way more about the 'build' than the 'battle,' which is a breath of fresh air if you're tired of the high-stress positioning found in games like TFT. You just want that one more orb to hit the perfect stat.
But keep in mind, this is a lean demo. It's an indie project by Giroshima and it definitely feels like it. There isn't a ton of meat on the bones yet, and the loop can get repetitive once the initial rush of a lucky roll fades. It's not a main event game; it's more of a 'second monitor' experience you run while doing something else.
Since it's free to try, the rough edges don't hurt too much, but don't expect a polished masterpiece. It's a casual, gambling-fueled power trip that hits the spot without demanding your full attention. Just don't go in expecting a deep strategic epic.

First Impressions
It's a solid 7/10 for a demo that nails the rush of the loot chase. If you love chasing impossible stats, you should definitely grab this while it's free. I want to see more depth and content in the full release to keep it from feeling too repetitive.
