What is HARVEST ARCANA?

A cozy, experimental hybrid where you farm magical crops to power up an autobattling party of four.

Imagine if a farming sim and an autobattler had a baby—that's basically Harvest Arcana. You'll ditch the traditional shop for an Arcane Farm where you grow the power-ups your adventurers need to survive.

Gameplay

You're not just rolling a shop for units here. Instead, you're running an Arcane Farm to prep a party of four adventurers. The core loop is a cozy mashup: you plant magical crops, harvest them, and feed them to your team to unlock their potential and trigger power spikes. Once your party's buffed up, you let them loose to fight foes in classic autobattler fashion. It's a chill, slower burn that feels more like a fantasy training game than a competitive sweat-fest.

It's definitely not a clone of things like TFT or Battlegrounds. The strategy is all in the management and prep work rather than rapid-fire drafting. Because it's a smaller indie project from Katarienumono, it doesn't have that corporate polish. You'll run into some clunky menus and a pacing that feels sluggish if you're used to the speed of Underlords. It's a bit rough around the edges, but that actually fits the homegrown vibe.

At $6.99, it's a paid entry in a genre that's usually free-to-play. You're paying for a specific, experimental experience rather than a live-service grind. It's a solid 7.5/10 for me. It doesn't have endless depth, but the satisfaction of seeing a specific plant change the tide of a battle keeps you coming back for more.

Verdict

Grab this if you want a cozy, experimental break from the usual meta. If you need high-speed action or corporate polish, the clunky menus and slow pace will probably annoy you.
