What is Janshin -infinity-?

A brutal Mahjong-meets-JRPG roguelite where survival depends on balancing healing hands with explosive damage.

Imagine if Balatro decided to go full Mahjong but added a 'fight the gods' JRPG skin over the top. Janshin -infinity- is a wild roguelite where you aren't just playing for points—you're playing to survive.

Gameplay

You're basically playing Balatro if it ditched poker for Mahjong and slapped a JRPG skin on top. Your core loop is building a set of skills and gear to unleash Mahjong hands that trigger specific effects to fight gods. It's not just about raw damage; you'll find yourself hunting for specific hands just to restore your HP or MP because these bosses hit like trucks. The synergy comes from loot-driven progression where you grab permanent omamori, consumable ofuda, and special tiles to modify how your hands function. One run you're a tanky sustain build, the next you're chasing high-risk explosive damage.

Meta-progression is steady, though it doesn't reinvent the wheel. You'll feel the power creep as you unlock better gear, which eventually makes early-game gods feel like pushovers. At $9.99, it's a fair price for the amount of variety you get, but keep in mind it's still in Early Access. You'll run into a clunky UI, and the 'casual' tag is a total lie. If you mismanage your resources, this game will absolutely wreck you. It's a weird, ambitious mashup that mostly works, provided you're okay with some rough edges.
