What is Exploiters?

A chill, low-cost idle colony builder that trades intense TD strategy for satisfying automation.

Imagine if a colony sim and a zombie tower defense had a baby that loved idle mechanics. Exploiters lets you build an automated war machine to survive endless hordes while you focus on scaling your resources.

Gameplay

You're not placing towers on a path here like you would in Bloons. Instead, Exploiters is a weird, addictive hybrid of a colony builder and an idle zombie defense game. You'll spend your time recruiting collectors, exploring new biomes, and upgrading gear to scale your efficiency. The core loop is all about passive income; you grow your colony to fuel automated combat that smashes through endless waves of zombies. It's less about the tight scripting you find in Kingdom Rush and more about the freedom to build a massive, automated war machine.

Since it's in Early Access, it's definitely a bit rough. It's more of a 'set it and optimize' experience than a high-intensity strategy game. If you're looking for sweaty micro-management or a cinematic masterpiece, you won't find it here. It's basically a numbers game where you start with nothing and watch your power skyrocket. For $2.99, it's a cheap entry point, though paying for an idle game is a bit unusual when so many are free. Still, it's a chill way to scratch that TD itch without the stress of a perfect build. I'm giving it a 7/10 because it does its one specific thing well.

Verdict

“So the one thing im not understanding, is where the defense comes in. Zombies just die when they reach you, there is no actual threat of losing. Its essentially a numbers go up game where you gain lev…”

Grab this if you love low-stress idle games and colony building. Skip it if you want a challenging strategy game with real stakes, as the lack of threat makes it feel shallow.
