Gameplay
You're basically dropping into a bullet heaven, but instead of just picking a random perk, your guns roll dice. Those dice trigger mods that create the actual chaos on screen. The loop is all about building an arsenal of dice and mods to rig the odds in your favor. You'll spend your time hunting for specific dice faces that trigger your most broken synergies, like calling down lightning bolts or turning alien mobs into exploding chickens. It's a bit like Balatro in how you try to cheat the RNG, but you're doing it while dodging a thousand horrors.
It's not all smooth sailing, though. Since this was a pivot from a larger project by Loonicy Entertainment, it feels a bit lean. The meta-progression is standard roguelite stuff—unlocking better gear and mods to boost future runs. The biggest drag is the pacing; early-game builds can feel repetitive until you finally hit those high-tier synergies. For $4.99, it's a cheap entry point, but you'll definitely feel those rough edges before the mayhem really kicks in. If you want something faster than Slay the Spire but with more strategy than a basic survivor clone, this hits the spot.
