What is Card Maker Simulator?
Imagine if a trading card game and a life simulator had a baby, and then that baby started a dynasty. Card Maker Simulator lets you create your own legends from scratch and manage their entire personal lives between battles.

Gameplay
You're not just drafting units here; you're literally playing god. The core loop is all about creating your own cards, beefing up their stats, and throwing them into strategic battles. But it's way weirder than your average autobattler. Your cards actually have lives. You'll manage marriages, rivalries, and even pets as you build out legendary bloodlines. It's basically The Sims but with fighting trading cards. You'll find yourself more invested in the individual 'person' on the card than some synergy bonus.
It's not all smooth sailing, though. Since it's a small indie project by Níkolas Santos, you'll run into some rough edges. The UI isn't polished and the menus feel clunky when you're first diving in. It doesn't have that slick, corporate feel you get from a Riot game like TFT. Also, keep in mind it costs $7.99. In a genre dominated by free-to-play titles, paying upfront might feel odd, but you're paying for a niche simulation experience rather than a competitive eSport. It's more about the joy of tinkering than climbing a ranked ladder.

Verdict
It's a solid 7/10. Grab it if you're bored of the same old formulas and want to build a card dynasty, but skip it if you're looking for a polished, high-stakes competitive eSport.
