What is Blockmania?

Gameplay
You’re dropping blocks on an 8x8 grid, but this isn’t Tetris. It’s a block-puzzle roguelike that feels like the lovechild of a classic puzzle and Balatro. You place pieces to clear lines and score Chips x Mult. The loop clicks when you start upgrading your bag of blocks. You draft specific shapes to build synergies. There are 92 rule-bending Jokers to hunt. They completely flip how you score. One run you might focus on specific shapes for multipliers. The next, you’re building an engine that rewards clearing lines in weird ways. You’re fighting through 12 rounds of bosses to break the machine. The meta-progression keeps you coming back. You’re always optimizing that bag for the next Overtime attempt. It’s addictive because you’re constantly chasing that broken combo. But it’s not perfect. The UI feels a bit stiff. If you hate math-heavy systems, the scoring might feel opaque at first. It’s definitely a brain-burner.
