What is Scavenger's March?

It’s a stripped-back semi-idle incremental game that works perfectly as a background distraction, not a traditional autobattler.

Scavenger's March offers a cozy, low-stress escape into a radioactive wasteland where your lone scavenger fights and loots on autopilot. It’s a perfect background companion for your Discord sessions, letting you tweak upgrades while you chat with friends. Just don’t expect the deep strategic drafting you get from Teamfight Tactics or Hearthstone Battlegrounds.

Gameplay

You’re going to want to set your expectations right before you drop $2.99 on this. Scavenger’s March isn’t an autobattler in the traditional sense. If you’re expecting the draft-phase chaos of Teamfight Tactics or the hero synergies of Hearthstone Battlegrounds, you’re looking at the wrong game. It’s a semi-idle incremental simulation where you control a lone scavenger trekking through a radioactive wasteland. The loop is surprisingly addictive, though. You don’t micromanage every click; instead, you set priorities and choose upgrades to keep your guy from dying in five minutes. You’ll spend your time hunting ModNoids, looting gear, and following rumors to extend those short, doomed runs into actual expeditions. The window is fully dynamic, so you can scale it down and let it sit in the corner of your screen while you’re doing other stuff. It’s the perfect 'second monitor' game for when you’re on Discord but want something happening in the background.

Key Features

  • Semi-idle incremental wasteland survival
  • Dynamic window scaling for multitasking
  • Preemptive attacks to extend runs
  • Hunt ModNoids and follow rumors
  • Manager-style upgrade prioritization

Verdict

It’s a polished, cozy little wasteland trip that justifies its $2.99 price tag as a steal for what it is. Grab it if you want a passive game to keep running in the background, but skip it if you’re looking for deep strategic depth or a competitive ranking system.
