Gameplay
You'll spend most of your time juggling a deck based on Korean folklore, fighting through a loop that feels like a love letter to the Slay the Spire blueprint. Instead of generic fantasy tropes, you're managing Chaos and Curse cards and triggering Ultimate Techniques to swing the momentum of a fight. The real meat is in the synergy; you aren't just stacking raw damage, but using the Chronicle of Great Figures and various talismans to dictate the combat flow. It's a tight loop that keeps you coming back because the relic combinations completely change how you prioritize your drafts.
Since it's a solo-dev project, it's not all smooth sailing. You'll run into a UI that feels unpolished and tooltips that leave you guessing about what a card actually does. The meta-progression is a bit thin in this demo slice, so don't expect a massive unlock tree just yet. It's free to play, which makes the rough edges easy to overlook, but the lack of polish is definitely noticeable during longer runs.
Run variety is where it shines. Between the talismans and the way Chaos elements interact, you'll find yourself experimenting with different builds to see what breaks. It doesn't reinvent the genre, but the distinct identity and specific mechanical hooks make it feel fresh enough to justify the occasional clunky menu.
