First Impressions: Procession Engine Demo
Forget everything you know about slow-paced tower defense. Procession Engine Demo throws you into a frantic, real-time tug-of-war where your strategy is literally sliding off a conveyor belt.

Gameplay
You aren't just placing towers and waiting for the wave to hit. In this demo, you're playing as the Bloomwardens in a real-time tug-of-war where you've got to push two lanes to take down the enemy stronghold. The core loop is a wild mix of building placement and a roguelike deck builder, but with a massive twist: your cards slide along a moving belt. If you don't play a card before it falls off the end, it's gone for good. It creates this frantic energy that's a far cry from the slow pace of Kingdom Rush; you're racing against a clock while managing your army spawns.
Since it's a demo, you're limited to Act 1. You'll feel the depth of the systems, but you'll also hit a wall once the content ends. It's definitely got that raw, early access vibe where the polish isn't 100% there yet. You're constantly balancing the belt's speed with your strategic placements, and because it's a roguelike, your build choices matter. It's a bold experiment in time-pressure strategy that keeps you on your toes, even if the chaos can feel overwhelming at times.

First Impressions
This is a must-try for anyone who wants a strategy game that tests their reflexes as much as their brain. Since it's free, you've got no reason not to grab it, though you should skip it if high-pressure time limits stress you out. I'm giving it an 8/10 and want to see more polished systems and further acts in the full release.
