What is Master Foot?
Don't let the name fool you—Master Foot isn't a foot massage parlor, it's a football management sim with a roguelike twist. You'll build a club and a tactical deck to survive the chaos of the pitch.

Gameplay
You've got two ways to play this, but Street Mode is where the actual deckbuilding happens. Instead of just picking a lineup, you're constructing a tactical deck of plays and decisions to navigate roguelike runs. The loop clicks when you find card synergies that actually break the game; you'll spend one run hunting for aggressive pressing combos to shred the defense, then pivot to a total park-the-bus defensive slog the next time. It's not quite the same dopamine hit as Balatro, but the run variety keeps you hooked.
Career Mode handles the long-term club building and off-pitch drama, which feeds into a light but effective meta-progression system. You're building a legacy here, so even when Street Mode crushes you, there's a reason to jump back in. At $9.99, it's a fair price for the amount of content, though it's definitely a 'gameplay first' experience. The presentation is a bit rough around the edges and the UI can feel clunky when you're trying to make fast moves. It doesn't have that polished, seamless feel of Slay the Spire, but the core mechanics hold up.
