What is Mage Fight?

A chaotic, d20-driven PvP drafter that's addictive despite its rough Early Access edges.

Tired of the same old single-player tower climb? Mage Fight flips the script with a chaotic PvP card-drafting skirmish where you shift the map and roll d20s to crush your rivals.

Gameplay

Forget climbing a tower alone. In Mage Fight, you're drafting cards and summoning minions to ruin another player's day in a PvP skirmish. The core loop is all about the draft, tactical positioning, and shifting the dungeon itself to mess with your opponent. You'll start with a simple coin flip and escalate into chaotic battles where you're rolling handfuls of d20s to see if your big spells actually land. It's swingy as hell, but that's where the rush is. If you like the drafting feel of Monster Train but want a head-to-head fight, you'll dig this.

Progression is handled through a ranking system and global multiplayer, though you can stick to bot mode or hotseat with a buddy if you're not in the mood for stress. At $11.99, it's a fair price for the amount of chaos you get, but you've gotta accept the Early Access jank. It's a bit rough around the edges and can feel stiff since it's based on a tabletop game. You'll run into bugs while the dev balances the meta, so don't expect a polished AAA experience. It's a raw, high-variance loop that's addictive despite the friction.

7.5/10. Grab this if you love high-variance PvP and don't mind some Early Access jank. If you need a perfectly polished experience or hate RNG-heavy combat, you should probably wait.
