What is idle:Doodle Realm?
If you need something to leave running in the background while you work or watch Netflix, you've gotta try idle:Doodle Realm. It's a low-stress, loot-heavy experience where you build an army to crush enemies in a charmingly basic doodle world.

Gameplay
You're basically managing a castle war where your units auto-deploy and push forward to smash the enemy. It's not a high-stress climb like TFT or Battlegrounds; the real game happens in the loot. You'll spend your time hunting for relics and gear to make your units absolutely cracked, then upgrading talents and buildings to keep the momentum going. It's a simple loop: fight, get loot, upgrade, and repeat.
It's super satisfying when a specific relic synergy finally clicks and you just steamroll the next few stages. However, don't expect deep tactical positioning or complex drafting. It's more of an incremental loot-fest than a strategic autobattler. The 'doodle' art style is basic and lo-fi, and since it's an Early Access indie project from JIANBING, you'll definitely notice some rough edges and a lack of AAA polish.
One weird thing is the price. Most idle games are free-to-play with microtransactions, but this is a paid title at $5.69. You're paying for a clean experience, but you've got to decide if a derivative 'numbers go up' loop is worth the entry fee. It's a solid 7/10 for what it is, provided you're okay with a slower pace.

Verdict
“at the beginning i found it kind of boring, doing the same stage twice or more just to grind lvls and gear... but i checked the achievements and looks like it has more mechanics than just watching the…”
Grab this if you love the feeling of numbers going up and want a low-effort army builder. Skip it if you're looking for a sweaty competitive climb or can't stomach paying for an Early Access idle game with shallow systems.
