What is Drumfire?
Forget everything you know about passive tower defense. Drumfire is an RTS roguelite that turns the genre into an aggressive missile war where you stack cards to flatten your opponent's Hub.

Gameplay
You aren't just plopping towers and praying for the best here. Drumfire is a wild mix where you build factories, scout with drones, and stack cards to demolish the enemy Hub. It's way more aggressive than Kingdom Rush; you're not just surviving, you're actively trying to flatten the other side. The loop is super addictive because of that card-stacking mechanic. It adds a layer of RNG that keeps you on your toes. You'll have runs where your build just clicks and you feel like a god, and others where you're scrambling just to keep your Hub standing. It's got that classic 'just one more round' energy that keeps you coming back for the Survival and Escalation modes.
It's not perfect, though. Since it's a roguelite, the early-game scaling feels a bit janky. You'll find the UI gets cluttered when the screen fills up with missiles and drones, which can be frustrating. At $14.99, it's a paid entry in a genre often dominated by free-to-play titles, but the depth of the missile warfare and the multiplayer is what justifies the price. You can jump in with up to four friends, which turns the tactical slog into absolute mayhem. If you're bored of the 'build-and-wait' style of TD games and want something that feels more like a combat puzzle, this is for you.

Verdict
I'm giving it a 7.5/10. It's worth your time if you want an aggressive, combat-puzzle TD, but skip it if you're hesitate to pay $14.99 for a game that's still a bit rough around the edges.
