What is Card Maker Simulator?

A creative simulation where you design the cards and manage their family trees instead of just drafting a deck.

Stop drafting cards and start inventing them. Card Maker Simulator lets you design the actual legends, backstories, and bloodlines of your deck in a wild hybrid of TCG creation and RPG simulation.

Gameplay

You've played a thousand deckbuilders where you just draft cards from a pool, but Card Maker Simulator flips that on its head. You're the one actually designing the cards from scratch. You create your legends, pump up their power, and then throw them into strategic battles to see if your designs actually work. It's a weird mix of a TCG creator tool and an RPG that'll keep you hooked because you're controlling the game's DNA.

The loop gets really wild when you dive into the social sim stuff. Your cards aren't just stats; they have marriages, rivalries, and pets. It's basically a cardboard soap opera. Instead of hunting for a simple strength buff like you would in Slay the Spire, you're managing bloodlines. This is where the meta-progression hits. You aren't just resetting a run; you're building a legacy of cards that get stronger over generations. Since you design the variables, the run variety is huge.

Just be warned that it's a solo project by Níkolas Santos, so it's not polished. The menus feel clunky and the creation system has a steep learning curve before the synergies click. It's more of a slow-burn simulation than a tight roguelike. If you're looking for a fast 30-minute session, this pace might annoy you. At $7.99, it's a fair price for the ambition, but you're paying for a creative experiment, not a AAA experience.
