What is Bound by Destiny?
Stop building towers and start building nightmares. You take on the role of the Viber Lord to trap Princess Mistynail in this unique reverse tower defense experience. It’s a refreshing twist on the genre where timing and aggression beat static placement every time.

Gameplay
You’re playing as the Viber Lord, trying to trap Princess Mistynail in your dark dungeon. It’s a reverse tower defense where you place traps and unleash creatures instead of building walls. The loop isn’t just set-and-forget; you have to trigger traps and strike at key moments to block her path. It feels punchy, thanks to the Astral Mode and hitstop mechanics that add real weight to the combat. If you loved Kingdom Rush, you’ll recognize that timing spell moment, but here you’re the villain trying to stop the hero. It’s aggressive and mean-spirited in the best way. But don’t expect AAA polish. The UI is basic, and you’ll see some jank. It’s clearly a passion project, not a finished product. Still, the core fun of outsmarting the princess holds up despite the rough edges.

Verdict
It’s worth a download if you’re bored of standard lane defense and want something more aggressive. Skip it if you need a polished, bug-free AAA experience or if you only play free-to-play games, as the $7.99 price tag might feel steep for an early title with basic UI. It’s a solid ride for fans of Kingdom Rush who want to be the villain.
