What is Waterjacked!?
Picture a gunslinging cactus fighting robots in a sci-fi western landscape, and you’ve got Waterjacked! It’s a weird, charming roguelike deckbuilder that swaps traditional card mulligans for kit-building with Modules and Augments. The concept is wild, but does the gameplay hold up when you’re actually clicking those cards?

Gameplay
You play as a gunslinging succulent wielding the GRID to fight off robot invaders stealing water in The Valley. The core loop isn't just about playing cards; it’s about building out your kit with Modules and Augments to create synergies. You’re essentially trying to turn your cactus into a walking turret. It’s a tactical, turn-based experience that feels snappy, even if it’s not as deep as Slay the Spire yet. The 'pseudo-endless' mode is there, but don’t expect much variety right now. You’ll hit a content ceiling fast since the demo only offers four robot enemies and a basic card set. The devs are honest about this being a work in progress with day jobs, so the full release is pushed to Q1 2027. It’s lean, but the sci-fi western vibe actually works.

Verdict
“I freaking love this game!!!!!! I am waterjacking my ♥♥♥♥ right now so harrdddd. Good lird you would not believe how hard I'm waterjacking. ouuggghhhh.”
If you love the idea of a tactical deckbuilder with a weird theme, give the demo a shot. It’s free, so there’s no risk. However, if you’re looking for deep meta-progression or a complete game, wait for the full release in 2027. The current state is too slim for a serious buy, but the potential is there if they flesh out the modules.
