Gameplay
You're building an army of humanoid mechs on a 10x5 grid, and unlike the usual sweat-fest of ranked ladders, this is all PvE. You aren't just picking a class and calling it a day; you're tinkering with over 300 skills to create specific synergies. Because the battlefield is wider than what you'll see in TFT, positioning actually matters. You can't just clump units in the middle; you have to map out how your mechs interact across that 10x5 space.
It's a slow-burn RPG experience. Compared to Hearthstone Battlegrounds, you aren't relying on lucky pulls every turn. Instead, you're architecting a war machine. It's less about the RNG and more about the smart build. However, it's definitely got that indie feel. The UI is clunky when you're digging through those hundreds of skills, and the pacing drags once you hit a wall and have to grind for parts.
At $4.99, it's a bit weird to see a paid entry in a genre dominated by free-to-play titles, but the sheer amount of tinkering makes it a steal.
