First Impressions: Orcs Again Demo
If you've got an hour or two to kill, you need to grab the Orcs Again Demo. It's a dark fantasy tower defense where you combine elements to wipe out massive hordes of orcs before they breach your kingdom.

Gameplay
You're basically holding the line against waves of orcs in a gritty, dark fantasy setting. The core loop is your bread and butter: build towers, upgrade them, and scavenge loot to keep the horde at bay. If you've spent any time with Kingdom Rush, the structure'll feel familiar, but the vibe is way more mature and moody. You aren't just placing towers and praying; the real meat is the elemental system. You've gotta figure out which elemental combinations actually shred through the enemies, and it's seriously satisfying when a combo finally clicks and vaporizes a crowd.
Since this is a demo, you'll definitely feel some rough edges. It's not as slick as Bloons or Defense Grid. The UI feels stiff in spots and the overall experience is a bit clunky, but it's a 'diamond in the rough' situation. You can tackle increasingly difficult maps or jump into endless mode to see how far your build can go before it totally collapses. It's a simple, effective loop that keeps you coming back just to see if you can survive one more wave. Because it's free to play, you don't have to worry about the lack of polish—you're just here for the elemental chaos.

First Impressions
The elemental combos make this a 7/10 for me. Since it's free, any TD fan should give it a shot, but if you can't stand clunky UI or unpolished indie builds, you might want to wait for the full release. I'm hoping the final version smooths out the stiffness while keeping the grit.
