Imagine if Vampire Survivors had a baby with a classic tower defense game and set it in a gold mine. You'll play as a dwarf fighting off massive hordes while managing a real-time budget to keep your defenses standing.

Gameplay

You're a dwarf trapped in a procedural cave, and you're not just dodging mobs. The core loop is all about the hustle: you've gotta mine gold to survive, then spend it on orbiting drones that create a personal bubble of death around you. Unlike Kingdom Rush, there's no set path here. Instead, you're protecting specific Gold Piles by planting towers in build zones while fighting off hordes in a bullet-heaven style.

There's a real sense of urgency because of the timer. If you don't finish a gold pile before the final 60 seconds of a level, the pile vanishes and takes all your towers with it. It's a smart move that stops you from camping and forces you to keep moving. The tension peaks during boss fights, especially when 'The Ancient' shows up to shred your build if you haven't optimized your drones and towers.

Since it's a demo, it's definitely a bit lean. The survivor elements feel derivative of the current trend, and the systems aren't exactly deep yet. You'll notice some rough edges, but the blend of mineral fetching and base defense keeps it moving fast. It's free to try, so you aren't risking anything, but it's clear the game needs more meat on its bones before a full launch.
