What is Docked Realms?

Docked Realms is an unfinished but intriguing semi-idle autobattler with a unique Sumerian theme, perfect for players who want to help shape a game’s balance rather than those seeking a polished, complete experience.

If you want an autobattler that lets your units grind even when you’re away, Docked Realms offers a unique Sumerian twist on the genre. It’s a semi-idle experience where you bind ancient souls and optimize long-term builds without the drafting panic of bigger titles.

Gameplay

You’re jumping into Docked Realms, a semi-idle autobattler that feels like a weird little experiment from a two-person team. It’s set in Sumerian myth, so you’re binding ancient souls like Lugal, Gula, and Erra to fight for you. The loop is all about managing your line, picking relics, and messing with 'Path trees' to power up. There’s also stuff called the Kiln and the Cube that adds layers to the progression. It’s not exactly like TFT or Battlegrounds because it’s less about the 'drafting panic' and more about long-term build optimization. Your units keep grinding even when you’re not actively playing, which hits that 'set it and forget it' spot. But since it’s Early Access, you’ll hit rough edges. The community is basically acting as the QA team right now, helping the devs balance the souls and the difficulty. It’s a cool concept, but it definitely feels like a skeleton of a game right now.

Verdict

Docked Realms is worth a download if you’ve got a few bucks and love the 'number go up' feeling of idle games mixed with tactical positioning. However, if you’re looking for something perfectly balanced and deep, wait until Act II and III drop. It’s a 6/10 right now because it’s clearly unfinished, but the core loop is intriguing enough to justify the $4.99 price tag for patient fans.
