What is Card Conquest?
If you're bored of the usual autobattlers and want a Tower Defense twist, Card Conquest offers a creative mashup of deckbuilding and strategy. You build a deck of spells and towers, then watch them clash in chaotic, roguelite runs that keep you coming back for more.

Gameplay
You aren't playing a pure auto-chess here, so don't go in expecting a TFT clone. Card Conquest is a wild hybrid of Tower Defense and roguelite deckbuilding. You spend your turns drafting spells, towers, and units into a single deck, then watch them fight automatically. It’s that addictive 'just one more run' loop where you balance offense and defense to stop enemies from breaching your line. You gather relics to power up your cards, creating combos that feel incredible when they click. But it’s definitely an indie project with rough edges. The UI is barebones, and some balance issues are glaring. One player noted that once you find a broken combo, you feel like a god, but the challenge vanishes. It’s not polished like Hearthstone Battlegrounds, but the core loop of building an engine and letting it run is solid. You’ll find yourself tweaking your deck between runs, trying to find that perfect synergy before the next wave hits.

Verdict
“The concept of this game is good, but right now it just feels unfinished. The UI feels even more barebones than my vague memories of the demo, and it's missing basic features like viewing your deck d…”
“Solid little TD with roguelike elements and an "I'm coming for you too" twist. Probably not GOTY, but there's enough here to have fun. Worth the price so far.”
Grab this if you want a casual, strategic experiment with a TD twist and don't mind rough edges. Skip it if you need a polished, balanced competitive experience or hate barebones UIs. At $7.99, it's a fair price for the fun you get out of it, provided you can overlook its unfinished state.
