What is Bressnath?
Forget the cozy, resource-rich towers of traditional strategy games. Bressnath throws you into a suffocating swamp where survival hinges on constant expansion and scavenging for every single brick of your defense. It’s a high-stakes, oppressive experience that redefines what it means to hold the line.

Gameplay
Bressnath is a weird, dark fantasy colony sim that happens to have a brutal tower defense core, and it’s not your typical 'place a turret and watch it go' experience. You’re dropped into the drowned Vreldsath fens with a few villagers, and the game tells you right away: nothing regrows. Most TD games give you a steady stream of gold or mana, but here, the economy is basically 'go find stuff before you run out.' You're constantly pushing outward into the ruins to find resources, and that's where the tension hits. You aren't just defending a base; you're fighting for the materials to even build the base. It's way more stressful than Kingdom Rush. In those games, you're managing lanes. Here, you're managing survival. You have to lay a causeway across the water to actually win, which means you're literally building your own path for the monsters to follow. It's a brutal trade-off that keeps you on edge every second.

Verdict
If you like that feeling of barely scraping by while monsters crawl out of a swamp, it's a must-play at just $0.99. But if you want a cozy experience or a polished, bug-free launch, skip this until Morass fixes the jank. It’s worth your time if you're bored of the same old TD tropes, but don't expect a smooth ride.
