You pick a faction—either the high-tech Moe or the mechanized brute force of Su—and start building an army on the fly. The core loop is all about combining cards, gear, and commander skills to beef up your troops before deploying them into formations. Once you've set your structures, you just sit back and watch the auto-battle unfold. It's all about that 'build a broken engine' vibe where you hunt for synergies that make your units feel totally unfair in the best way.
Depth-wise, it's less about micro-management and more about the 'rock-paper-scissors' of armor counters. It reminds me of Monster Train in how you layer your defenses and attacks, but the focus is heavily on unit types. The run variety comes from how you mix your gear with commander skills; some combinations just wreck everything.
It's not all smooth sailing, though. Because it's an auto-battler, you'll hit moments where a tiny positioning error ruins a great deck, and you can't tweak anything mid-fight. The UI is clunky in spots and it definitely feels like an indie project with rough edges. Still, the meta-progression is solid.
