What is Luxmithar?
Imagine a tower defense game where you're trapped in a hellscape defending a crashed forge-ship. You've got to build your own map on a modular grid and survive brutal waves of enemies that swarm in the darkness. It's a stressful, addictive mix of survival and strategy.

Gameplay
You aren't just plopping towers on a path and watching them work here. In Luxmithar, you're defending a crashed forge-ship in a total hellscape, and the loop is surprisingly addictive. You spend your days harvesting resources and expanding a modular grid world, essentially building your own map as you go. Then, you just pray your defenses hold when the darkness hits and the hordes swarm in. It's way more active than something like Kingdom Rush because you're managing light and survival alongside your traps.
The roguelite elements give it that 'just one more run' vibe. You're constantly unlocking new ways to fight back, which keeps the replay value high. However, it's not all smooth sailing. Since it's in Early Access, you'll run into some jank and brutal difficulty spikes. Some of those storms will absolutely wreck you without warning. It's a bit stressful, but it forces you to actually think about your layout instead of just spamming the strongest tower you can find.
At $2.99, it's a total steal. You're getting a fast, dark experience that challenges you to adapt. It definitely needs more polish to smooth out the rough edges, but the core gameplay is solid enough to justify the price. I'd give it a 7.5/10. It's a great pick if you want a TD game that feels more like a fight for survival than a puzzle.

Verdict
“A good game with Rouge-like Tower defence and story driven elements. Good game overall and anyone who wants some wave survival in there game. Kodus for Indie dev may you make more in the future.”
“A fun and interesting game, if you like tower defense with story elements, this will be for you. Not an easy game, you will die and die, but it's part of the process. Give it a try, you’ll enjoy it. :…”
Grab this if you love roguelites and want a TD game with more teeth than Bloons. If you hate brutal difficulty spikes or unpolished Early Access jank, you might want to wait for a few more updates.
