Imagine a cursed casino where you fight slot-machine monsters to wake up from a fever dream. It's a high-stakes roguelike deckbuilder that blends poker logic with tower-climbing combat. If you want something weird and strategic, this is it.

Gameplay

You're climbing a 10-story tower in a cursed casino fever dream, fighting bosses that are literally addicts fused into slot machines. It's grim, but the loop is where the game clicks. You aren't just playing cards for damage; you're fusing them to build poker hands. If you hit a Pair, Straight, or Full House, you don't just get a big hit—you actually add traits like Lifesteal or Stun to your cards. It's a weird, satisfying hybrid that feels like Slay the Spire mixed with the poker vibes of Balatro.

To really break the game, you'll need Lucky Coins. These act as passive modifiers that can do things like keep your shields active between fights or stop you from taking lethal damage. The synergy between these coins and your fused cards is what makes the runs feel varied. You'll spend your time hunting for those specific combos that turn a basic attack into a powerhouse.

Meta-progression is handled through a 'Death Legacy' system. When you wipe, you can carry over three cards, keep your tickets, or grab a random lucky coin for the next attempt. It stops the roguelike frustration by letting you seed your next run for success. It's definitely addictive, even if the experience isn't polished yet.

Since this is a demo, expect some jank. The UI feels clunky in several spots, and because the dev opened the full item pool for feedback, some combos are wildly unbalanced. It's clearly in a 'find the bugs' phase, so don't expect a seamless experience. Still, the core mechanic is fresh enough to make the rough edges tolerable.

It's a solid 7/10 in its current state. Since it's free to try, you should definitely grab it if you love high-stakes roguelikes, but skip it if you can't stand unpolished UI and balance issues. I'm looking forward to seeing a more stable interface and tuned card values in the full release.
