What is Incremental Ragebait?

An addictive incremental TD loop trapped inside a buggy, frustratingly unpolished shell.

Imagine if a tower defense game and an idle clicker had a baby, but that baby was a demon trying to annoy humanity into submission. You play as Incrementus, a soul-stealing entity aiming to reach the status of Ragebait God. It's a bizarre, chaotic premise that's honestly kind of addictive if you can stomach the jank.

Gameplay

You play as a demon named Incrementus with one goal: become a Ragebait God. Your core loop is simple. You hover over mortals to steal their souls, then take those souls to Lucifer's shop to buy weapons and upgrades. It's a weird hybrid of a tower defense and an idle game where you eventually build a purgatory to automate the soul-harvesting for you. When you find a broken weapon combo that sweeps everything away, it's a huge rush.

But don't expect the polish of something like Kingdom Rush. This is rough. You'll run into bugs where the game tells you that you don't have enough souls for an item even when you're sitting on a mountain of currency. The skill tree is a crash hazard, and if your save files corrupt, you've got to manually delete folders in your AppData and kill cloud saves just to get back in.

At $5.49, it's a bit odd to pay for an incremental game when most are free, and the current state doesn't really justify the cost. The progression is addictive if you love seeing numbers go up, but the technical mess makes it feel unfinished. You'll spend as much time fighting the interface as you do the mortals.

Key Features

What Players Say

The community is pretty split, though mostly leaning toward frustration. Some players feel 'utterly appalled' by the launch state, citing terrible balancing and bugs that make the game basically unplayable. Others mention that while the dev is fast with feedback and fixed the achievements, the save system barely works and the skill tree causes constant crashes. A few fans think the low price makes the fun gameplay worth the trouble, but most feel like they're the ones being ragebaited.

Grab this on a deep sale only if you live for idle games and don't mind a buggy experience. If you want a tight, strategic TD without the technical headaches, skip this one until it's actually polished. 3/10.
