What is Get Outta My Gut?
Get Outta My Gut trades sterile fantasy castles for a visceral, biological nightmare where you are the body’s last line of defense. It’s a weird, wonderful roguelite that forces you to physically trigger enemy waves by slicing open sacs, making every match feel like a high-stakes surgery.

Gameplay
You’re playing as an immune system fighting a germ apocalypse, and let’s be real, the premise is gross as hell in the best way possible. Instead of clean sci-fi bases, you’re dealing with fleshy, gooey, organic defenses. The core loop is a roguelite TD where you draft randomized turret cards ranging from Common to Legendary. But here’s the kicker: you don’t just wait for a timer. You manually slice open pathogen sacs to trigger the waves. It gives you actual control over when the carnage starts, which breaks the monotony of standard tower defense games. You also have to build blood vessels to power your turrets, turning resource management into a genuine puzzle. You’ll fight through 10 different organs, and even if you die, you evolve your immune system for the next run. It’s janky, sure, but that manual triggering keeps you engaged in a way Bloons TD never does.

Verdict
If you’re tired of stone walls and lava pits, this $8.99 price tag is worth it for the wild theme and addictive drafting loop. Skip it if you need a polished, bug-free experience or hate biological horror themes, as it’s definitely an indie project with rough edges.
