First Impressions: Dyeversion Demo
Imagine a tower defense game where your towers don't actually work until you plumb them into a color-coded piping system. Dyeversion Demo turns the genre into a logistical puzzle where mixing the right liquids is the only way to survive.

Gameplay
You've probably played a hundred TDs where you just plop a tower down and wait for it to shoot. Dyeversion Demo flips that on its head. Your towers are basically paperweights until you hook them up with liquid hoses from color sources. You'll spend your time dragging pipes around the enemy path, turning the whole thing into a hybrid of tower defense and a puzzle game. It's all about the routing; if your pipes aren't set up right, your defense is useless.
The real magic happens with the color mixing. You aren't just picking a tower type; you're engineering them. If you feed a tower Red + Red + White, it evolves into a Flame tower. It's way more satisfying than the gold-based upgrades you see in Kingdom Rush because you're actually forging the power source. You'll battle through levels, collect tokens, and dump them into a skill tree to get stronger, giving the whole experience a roguelite vibe.
Just keep in mind it's a demo from an indie dev, so it's a bit rough. You'll definitely run into some clunky routing and balance issues. It's a proof of concept, not a AAA polished product, so don't expect everything to feel seamless. Still, the core loop of mixing colors to unlock combo towers is too cool to ignore, even if the edges are a bit jagged.

First Impressions
This is a wild concept that's absolutely worth a download since it's free to try. If you love puzzle-hybrids and roguelite progression, jump in now, but skip it if you can't stand unpolished indie demos. I'm hoping the full release smooths out the clunky routing and expands the recipe list.
